i haven't worn my hair down since 3 rd grade and im in 7th. Picture day is coming and my friends want to straighten it and make it look good. should i let them. when i walk into school eveyone would be shocked. i am also very shy. and it would also get the people back that used to make fun of me. my hair is very curly and i have never straightened it. what should i do?

i think my mom would freak out, but i don't know because i have never asked her and she thinks i don't want to.

OMG i'm the same way my hair is wicked curly and i straighten it just ask your mom and trust me if people notice you and you look good that's a good thing

Let your mom know but I totally think you should. I have curly hair to. And I straighten mine every day. I like it a lot better. I know you will too. But you should totally let your friends give it a try.
