ok so ive been growing my hair out hoping for it to look like the link below only a bit longer

but it doesnt,,, i have straight hair but it always seems to be like sorta poofy

its hard to explain but i can tell it like doesnt lay flat

every product i use doesnt work

By the description of your hair's condition I would say it's wavy, dry, and unruly? Redken makes great products, I've tried many brands, I'm a cosmetologist, but I prefer Redken. There are 2 products I think would help you, the first is called Smooth Down, it's targeted to protect your hair from heat, but is still a great serum if you don't blow dry, the main ingredient is macadamia oil. Along with this, I suggest a product called Align 12 which is a straightening balm. Depending on how wavy your hair is, the products may not work alone, try blow drying it on low while brushing it straight w/ a coarse brush, and touch it up w/ a straightening iron. I have way curly hair, these products are a dream, when I straighten, people can't believe my hair is naturally curly.

Beauty isn't always easy, and I can guarantee the guy in that pic used a straightening iron, you can tell by his ends his hair isn't naturally that straight either. If there's days you don't have the ambition to go through all that work, use the same products on very wet hair, comb through once w/ a wide toothed comb, and DON'T TOUCH IT until it dries, by doing this your hair will bond together in big, conformed locks, instead of a lot of hairs all going their own way, this will make it look more styled. :o)

Wash at night, wait to dry, then sleep on it. It should lay much flatter then.

I kinda had this problem. My hair seems a bit poofy %26amp; a tiny bit frizzy. Though its straight.

I use the S Factor. You can get them at Toni %26amp; Guy or Regis.

It works wonders. Spray it on your hair wet/dry then straighten with a quality straightener. VOILA!
